Dispatcher (m/f/d)

LOCON Logistik & Consulting AG, based in Berlin/Brandenburg, is one of the leading private railway companies in the field of rail logistics and rail freight transport within Germany. We offer our customers, who are among the leading logistics and industrial companies in Europe, customised logistics and transport services. Due to the expansion in rail freight traffic and to strengthen our planning team we are looking for a dispatcher (m/f/d) as soon as possible.

Aufgaben

• Monitoring and operational control of trains, staff and technology
• Deviation and emergency management
• Active communication in case of deviations with customers, employees and external staff
• Documentation of operating procedures

Requirements

• Ideally you have relevant experience in the railroad or transport industry
• IT knowledge (MS-Office), willingness to learn about database solutions
• Reliability
• Logical thinking
• Strong organisational skills
• Readiness for shift work (night / weekend)
• Strong team awareness
